From the Lips of Little Ones: A Study in the Catechism (for very little people)
Begin today to pass along to your youngest loved ones the key truths of Scripture. Jeff Kingswood's 73-week plan, based on the Children's Catechism of 1840, is simple and thoughtful. You will open doors to important discussion with your children and lay a foundation for knowing God and themselves. Freshly reprinted, this book offers bite-sized lessons for today's child.
Ryan M. McGrawIt is vitally important to train our children to know the Bible and to know what it means. Some of the best means of doing this are family worship and catechizing. Yet good intentions often fizzle out without a guide. Jeff Kingswood leads parents through using the catechism with the Bible in order to know the Lord through the Bible. His plan is brief, easy to follow, full of Scripture, and will make life easier, both for parents and children.

Dr. Ian HamiltonIt is a pleasure to commend this Children's Catechism. First, because it addresses a vital need in the life of Christian families. Nothing is more important than teaching our little ones God’s truth and Jeff Kingswood does just that in the space of 145 Questions and Answers. Second, because parents need help to teach their children engagingly as well as faithfully. Pastor Kingswood understands what it is to be a parent (and grandparent) and provides thoughtful, child-friendly questions that will help parents explain God’s truth to their children. Thirdly, Pastor Kingswood’s use of Scripture to explain and apply Scripture is a model that will educate parents as well as their children. I wish I had possessed this excellent resource when my wife and I were raising our four children (I have already recommended it to our children for them to use with their children).

Rich GanzPastor Kingswood has written a wonderful book for parents and their children. Speaking with a fathers love and a pastors heart, Jeff has produced a very thoughtful study. This guide to the Children's Catechism will doubtless prove to be a blessing both to parents and their children, and as Jeff pointed out in his introduction, 'to their childrens' children.' Speaking in clear and simple language, Jeff's book makes this important teaching tool come alive (as he so beautifully puts it) 'for very little people.' Buy it. Read it. Use it."
